iWALK Extreme Trio 10,000 mAh Power Bank

We have received an iWALK Extreme Power Bank as a corporate gift… (explains the red circle in all my photos).

iWALK Power Bank

According to the packaging, specs are as follows:

3.7V
10,000mAh
DC in: 5V1.0A-5V2.4A
DC Out: 5V3.4A

Based on my testing, it can charge the iPhone 5C and iPad mini 2 multiple times.

Compared to other power banks, the iWALK Extreme comes with 2 cables, 1 lightning (for your iOS Device) and 1 Micro (B) USB.

It also has a USB socket just incase you don’t want to use the built in cables.

Press and hold the on/off button to turn on the device.

You will need a separate Micro USB to charge it.

The black diamonds at the back are actually rubber to avoid the powerbank from slipping. Based on our experience, very useful when used on a plane!

With 10% left (as per the screen, but in actual, it was no longer able to charge our devices), it will need 7 hours to fully charge.

Using my Galaxy S6’s Adaptive Fast Charger provided 2 hours less charging time compared to my PC’s USB port (time was based on the power bank’s screen.

Now for the output…

According to my Nexus 7‘s Ampere App.

With 1 device plugged in (only my Nexus 7).

Min. Output: 620mA
Max Output: 880mA

With 2 Devices plugged in (Nexus 7 and Galaxy S6 Edge)

Min. Output: 500mA
Max Output: 600mA

Compared to my 2,000mAh and 5,000mAh powerbanks, this thing is heavy.

It’s also bigger than my phone!

I can’t even imagine carrying it in a bag with a tablet!

But if you’re the type of person who travels a lot, you will need a good and fast powerbank…

The iWALK Extreme Trio is highly recommended! Only issue against it is that you also need a day (or overnight) to fully charge it.

***Update***

From 100%… This power bank can only charge my Nexus 6P once… (6P was at 14%, only 38% was left from the power bank when my device was fully charged)

However, using the right cable (USB-3 to Type-C), it has enough power to “Quick Charge” my phone…
